| | Sparkling | I Want To See Everything | | | A highly concentrated blend of hypnotic drums and layered pop songwriting. Sparkling is electrified post-punk with guitars, balancing between breathless and elegant, somewhere between London and Cologne.
At the very least: “I Want To See Everything”...how disarmingly unpretentious this opening statement already is. Sparkling aren’t chasing cool poses; they simply want to bring their energetic music out into the world.
The multilingual album makes it easy for the three Cologne-based musicians, as it speaks a universal language of pop that goes far beyond the German, English, and French lyrics on offer. | | | Manufacturer/importer information | |
